‘Spending a drowsy summer afternoon wandering through the galleries and store rooms of the Canvas Gallery, was a serendipitous affair. One came across diverse and previously unseen work by established and lesser known artists. It was an experience one wanted to share, hence the emergence of the Summer Show.’
