Photo Exhibition on Police Performance at PNCA

To highlight role of police in society, Rawalpindi Islamabad Photo Journalist Association on Wednesday organised a photo exhibition at National Art Galley of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA).

Islamabad Police Inspector General (IGP) Bani Amin Khan inaugurated the exhibition. As many as 70 photojournalists from the twin cities participated in the exhibition while 80 photos of police activities in the federal capital were put on display. Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that photojournalists, through this exhibition, have portrayed the “true picture of Islamabad Police, which is commendable”.

Assistant Inspector General (establishment) Sultan Azam Temuri said that the exhibition would help identify “our flaws and improve our performance”.

“Provincial police force has taken steps for accountability and check negligence on part of police,” he said.

Later at a prize distribution ceremony, Amir Qureshi was given the first prize while other photojournalists, including Shabbir Hussain, Sajjad Haider, Raja Riaz, Ishaque Chaudhry and Raees Khan, received special certificate from the IGP.
