The unique art pieces by renowned international artist Gabrielle Pool from Australia were displayed here at Gallery6 for the art lovers of the federal city.

These oil paintings on canvas were offered at very reasonable prices by the artists to acknowledge art gallery’s efforts for the promotion of art. Gabrielle Pool is a New Zealand born artist living in Australia, who has 31 solo and 25 group exhibitions to her credit. Her artwork has continued to receive commercial and critical acclaim, receiving much coveted recognition in the contemporary arena as an oil painter. She was invited to collaborate in the Nelson Mandela Unity series in 2004 with 40 other artists around the world, which added substantially to her international commendation.Since 2004, Gabrielle has spent a lot of time in Africa, living with the Hamer Tribe in Southern Ethiopia and a Maasai tribe in Kenya. Her trips to Kibera Kenya to work with the children of the Oasis Africa Kibera School has been part of her continued inspiration More recently Gabrielle has sought inspiration amongst the indigenous women artists of Australia’s Northern Territory, continuing her journey into recording vanishing tribes around the world.”In appreciation of the efforts of art gallery for promoting Pakistani art at international level, the artist has very generously offered to gift her few paintings to our clients at almost one-fourth of their current international market value”, said the curator of the gallery, Arjumand Faisel.Dabir’s exhibition also continues at Tanzara Gallery. The exhibition of sculptures, art reliefs and drawings by acclaimed sculptor and ceramist Talat Dabir is continued here at Tanzara Gallery. The exhibition titled “The Inward Journey” opened on October 23, features the artist’s most recent artpieces from the “boat series “as well as some pieces from the previous collection.
