Visiting Chinese delegation given musical programme at Alhamra

A musical programme was held at the Alhamra Arts Council to entertain a 100-member Chinese delegation that was visiting the city on the invitation of Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP).

The programme was organised by the TDCP in honour of the Chinese delegation.

Several Chinese male and female singers sung songs, including ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’, enthralling the jam-packed hall.

Separately, students from different schools of the country presented Mor dance, Kathak dance and different regional dances, which were highly lauded by the audience.

Earlier, the TDCP also organised a city tour for the Chinese delegation, taking the visitors to the Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Museum.

The Chinese youth delegation was invited to Pakistan with the aim of strengthening the cultural ties between Pakistan and China.

The delegation was also informed about the culture of Punjab, economy and about the measures being taken by the Punjab government for the country’s progress.

The TDCP also arranged a cultural night for the Chinese delegation on Tuesday.
