Various Art Courses at Rawalpindi Arts Council

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Khalid Masood Chaudhry has said that technical education is equally important along with academic education to fight against the challenges of unemployment in Pakistan. He expressed these views while distributing certificates among students enrolled in various art courses at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Thursday. The commissioner was flanked by Naheed Manzoor and RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed. Commissioner Khalid Masood Ch said that he is pleased to know that RAC offers art courses to students along with technical courses like textile designing and fashion designing. He said he hoped that the students of the art council will excel in their respective fields after completing their courses. He said besides training, Rawalpindi Arts Council also holds exhibitions of works of its art students to boost their confidence and provide them a platform. Naheed Manzoor, speaking on the occasion, said the art council provides training in various disciplines of art including Islamic art, painting, music, besides fashion designing, textile designing and interior decoration.
