Paint For A Drug Free Pakistan at Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi

DFPF is giving call to all Art schools and Institutions of Pakistan to come forward and show their creativity for Paint for Drug Free Nation. Drug abuse Problem is aggravating day by day and this problem should be addressed
through raising awareness. This competition will be a great source of exposure for Artists and art learners for a social cause. The theme Paint for Drug Free Nation has a very vast vision; artists are free to surf with their Ideas and Innovations. Unique ideas following the theme will highly be appreciated.
OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of this competition are to:
• Provide our young Artists a platform for a Social cause.
• Spread the awareness relating drug addiction among youth.
• Introduce the concept of Drug Free Nation.
• Create mass awareness among students on substance abuse.
• Mobilize Artists against drug abuse problem.
• Bring to light the Drug abuse problem in media.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
Medium Painting
Painting Size 22”x26”
Last date of Painting Submission 20 December, 2011
Date of Exhibition: 24 December, 2011
REWARDS:
1. First Prize = Rs. 15,000
2. Second Prize = Rs. 10.000
3. Third Prize = Rs. 5,000
4. Participation Certificates will be given to all contestants
5. *Sponsorships will be given to first 3 Position holders for 4th Pakistan Youth Congress.
6. *Special Discount package for all Competition participants.
* Pakistan Youth Congress has its own selection criteria. This condition will only be applied for those who match this Criterion.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Only Art Work with a complete filled registration form will be acknowledged
2. Paintings will be non returnable.
3. If sold, amount will be given to a charity hospital i.e. New Horizons Care Center which provides 100% free treatment and rehabilitation to poor drug addicts.
4. Jury’s decision will be final and non-objectionable.
