Atif’s works have an illustrative quality but most of the times he deliberately leaves the story unfinished at a point from where he wants the viewer to find their own meaning according to their personal experiences, understanding and exposure about life.

Atif lives and works in Lahore and is an Assistant Professor at the National College of Arts, Lahore from where he also graduated with distinction in 1997. In 1998, he was awarded the UNESCO-ASHBURG Bursary, to complete a residency at Darat-al-Funun in Amman, Jordan. His career as a printmaker spans over twenty years and besides Pakistan, his work has been exhibited in Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, UAE, UK and USA. “Love Songs” is Atif’s second solo with Sanat Initiative.
