Exhibition of Calligraphic Art Work By Khalid Ishaq Rathore at Alhamra

Khalid Ishaq Rathore’s Islamic calligraphy exhibition opened at Alhamra Art Gallery on Monday. A total of 47 paintings are displayed at the exhibition.

Maulana Raghib Hussain Naeemi of Jamia Naeemia inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the calligraphy work of Khalid Rathore and his attachment with Islamic art.

According to Rathore, his calligraphy work is not traditional, claiming that he had broken the new horizons of artistic wonders, worked very hard and took six months to display his artwork.

“I have presented eye-catching, colourful and innovated work, which has not been experienced earlier,” Rathore claimed.

He said that he was inspired by nature and that he was bestowed with such opportunities, which reinforced his artistic creativity to the unprecedented heights.

He said he believed that remarkable illustrations of the names of God and Quranic verses dabbled in vibrant hues are the testimonies of his passionate attachment, which would touch the inner routes of viewers’ minds and hearts.

He said originality and mellowness, raised from exceptional creativity, were the paramount features of his work, which was enough to satiate the aesthetic flair of art buffs.

He said other than Islamic calligraphy, he was specialised in astrology, palmistry, numerology and other subjects of unconventional science.

He said he had 26 books, four periodic magazines, including a quarterly English magazine, a number of TV shows and several newspapers articles to his credit.

A good numbers of art lovers attended the opening ceremony. The exhibition would continue until July 28.

The founder of Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences started taking interest in occult sciences in 1975. He started writing articles in different magazines in 1984-85. in 1991 the Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences came into being. Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences is one of its own kind. There is no such tradition in past to give education on practical grounds in the field of occult sciences. Those who knew, they did not try to propagate and educate the knowledge of occult sciences.

With a passage of time Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences became a strong, well built and deep rooted tree.

In beginning course on Palmistry was introduced and after that one by one different courses such as Astrology, Numerology, Jafar, Saa-at and Amliyat were introduced. They were opted and like by people. It became the first sincere and systemized  effort to spread the knowledge of different branches of occult sciences. After that, advance level courses such as Sahayam (lot system), Jafar Jaame and Taskheer-Muwaklat-u-Hazraat were introduced.

There was no such authentic reference material on different branches of occult sciences. It was then decided to publish books. In 1993 first book “Khazeena Aadad” was published which was on the topic of numerology. After this first step in the field of publishing books it became the mission to provide and spread knowledge of ancient times for general reader and professionals. Now by the grace of Allah more than twenty books have been published Inshallah this process will continue in future.

In 1997 it was decided to issue a monthly magazine. The name was decided “Rehnuma-e-Amliyat”. Rehnuma-e-Amliyat was launched in March,1998. It contains articles on several topic like ramal, jafar, astrology, numerology etc. In the same year the annual year book of astrology named “Khalid Rohani Jantri” was issued. “Rehnuma-e-Amliyat” contains the most accurate astrological and astronomical information. It is useful for both general reader and professional.

Modern technology has become the part and parcel of our lives. Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences felt this wave earlier and started working on these lines.

The year 1994 came up with another mile stone. The first computer programme of astrology in the history of  Pakistan was made by Khalid Occult Software House the subsidiary of Khalid Institute of Occult Sciences. In the year 2005 it was decided to launch an English magazine of occult science. It was given a name “Astro Far-zoq International. “Astro Far-zoq International will prove a door to enter into the international community of professionals of occult sciences.
