Lives in Lahore
As the saying goes that our conscious is just the tip of an iceberg; subconscious is what plays a major role in forming the present state of mind at all times that is affected by the political and social scenario merging with nature. The way we perceive things is a result and reflection of what is happening around us. Therefore, my work is a representation of my present state of mind which is affected by what is going on around me.
I have always observed and noticed street dogs and pet dogs throughout my life, which has lead me to question the difference between the behavior of men and dogs; who is the guardian? Who is the caretaker? Who is more dangerous? Who is united?
My work is a representation of this constant confusion going on in our brain. It represents the thought process as we tend to relate things with other things just in a fraction of seconds. Our eyes notice multiple things at the same time, we see a lot and take in what we want to; my work is a reflection of this too as visuals play a major role in developing our thoughts. When a viewer looks at my work, they can see a lot of things going on, but it depends on them what they want to take from it. The way they perceive it is the way their thought process works and how they relate to the objects in my work of art.
